Galway 5 a side league
We had a good night of football on sunday with the first match kicking off between Gort and Massacre. It proved to be a very tight game of end to end football where gort, having had some great chances at the end of the game, failed to convert and evevtually lost out only 4-3 to Massacre.

The second game a was between Armen and ?. This match proved to be very one sided with team ? managing to put 9 past Armen. Owen put in a man of the match performance for ? while their striker Scan, slid quite a few goals past the armen keeper. Armen did manage to get one cracker at the end of the game but it was merely a consolation.

The last game took place between Grasshoppers and Madboys. Grasshoppers went out determined to finally get their hands on that 1st place that has eluded them in the past and put in a class performance of which you now come to expect with this side to take a comfortable 9-4 victory over Madboys.
