It was another entertaining night of football with some tight games played. The first match was a really close game between Hamstead Harriers and Kynoch Corinthians but in the end neither side could find the winning goal as the game ended 2-2. Pattaya United and The 6 pack both played there heart out in their game but both goalkeepers were on fine form and in the end both teams could not find the back of the net as the game ended a 0-0 draw and Chris Bailey getting a mention for his performance. The most competative game of the evening saw Super 6 take on Team Sports Casual but Steve Mroczkowski showed us why last season he got player of the season as he helped his team to a 3-2 victory. It was a massive win for The Sand Dancers over The Old Pooches this week with no shortage of goals as Lawrence Carey pulls out a man of the match performance in The Sand Dancers 6-4 win. Maney Park Rangers were up to there usual bag of tricks with the assistance of Paul Smith this week as the defeat TCOB FC 4-0. In the final game of the evening it saw Sutton Spartans give Unreal Madrid an absolute pasting as Unreal Madrid were left holding their heads in there hands at there 6-0 defeat, Josh Hackett getting a honourable mention.

Norfolk N Good dropped their first point of the season this week in the Aldercar Monday 5 a side league as they were held to a 4-4 with STW Double D in what proved a cracking game for the neutrals. Despite twice going ahead early on STW found themselves trailing the league leaders late in the second half, however with Dean Hutsby in superb form it was two late goals that ensured a share of the spoils for STW and in turn halted Norfolk's impressive winning run so far this season.

There was another exciting between Inter YM and The New White Bull that ended 6-5 in The Bull's favour and keeps them in fifth place in the league. It was a real end to end game with plenty of chances for both sides but it was Liam Hodgkinson in the Inter goal that continued to frustrate the White Bull time and time again with a number of world class stops between the sticks, preventing what could have been a much bigger score-line.

Craig Thrall was also unlucky to be on the losing team as his side The Youngsters and Old Guy were beaten 5-2 by in form side Langley Milan. With Langley gunning for a forth straight victory, they bolted from the blocks and would have scored more but for Thrall's heroics in the Youngsters goal. The win keeps up Milan's hopes of catching second placed side Heanor Lions who remain 3 points clear of their rivals after their 5-0 victory this week.

Anyone who wants to join the 5 a side leagues in Aldercar can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net
Urine Trouble and SOPs Reunited top the league after the first 2 games of the new Monday night 6-a-side season, following hard-fought victories in their respective fixtures.

Urine Trouble came from behind to beat Renegades 4-3 in a game that should have been put beyond them in a one-sided first half, with Mark Young particularly impressive in a losing cause.

SOPs Reunited overcame a determined fightback to defeat The Young Ones 4-2, although the game will be remembered for an impressive attacking display from Paddy Doyle from the Young Ones, and a let-off from the referee for SOPs who were perhaps fortunate to finish the game with 6 players.

Last season´s champions, Farmborough Bounce, continued their sluggish start to the season, failing to overcome a resilient Norad FC, for whom Dave Fussell starred in a 1-1 draw.

In the night´s other match, new team Norfolk ´N´ Chance went down to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Leave-my-arcelona, for whom Ben Flower impressed.

Inbertweeners produced a ruthless display in the Selston Sunday 5 a side league this week with an emphatic 10-0 victory over early strugglers Norfolk In Chance FC. James Funnel set the 'tweeners on their way with his strikes for his team whilst Paul Hodgson was also in red hot form in front of goal as Neverbin Athletic got back to winning ways with a 13-1 win against DG United. With little to separate to two teams at half time, Neverbin then went goal crazy in the second half to run out convincing winners.

Mick Morgan was in the thick of the action for The White Lion in their 6-3 win against Mot Mot Motley Crue. The win halts Motley recent good run and keeps them in forth place, two points off Eastley Harriers who now occupy top spot as Paul Mear inspired Harriers to a 6-3 victory over Notts FC. Horse and Jockey though remain hot on the heels of the leaders after Kelvin May helped his team edge out Waingroves 4-3 in a closely contested game. The deferat saw Waingroves drop their first points of the season and drop a place to second.

Elsewhere Sitty Pretty picked their first point of the season after they shared the points, and the goals with Orange Sierra. Daz Turner receiving the Man of the Match award after his performance in this game that finished 5-5.

Anyone who wants to join the 5 a side leagues in Selston can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net
Well done to all teams on another great evening of football in Coseley. In the biggest game of the season so far joint leaders Beacon CC FC took on Wolves SFC. In a match predicted to be close it was Beacon CC who ran out easy winners crushing their opposition 8-2 to move clear at the top of the table. Third placed Barcaloonies took full advantage of Wolves slip up to move two points behind their league rivals with a 6-1 victory over Get To Ze Chopper with Jack Stanton picking up the man of the match award. In other games Mushy Pea FC and Four Fortuna shared the points in a thrilling 3-3 draw and Coseley Strikers smashed seven past Never Gonna Win without reply to leap frog their opponents at the foot of the table.

It was another entertaining evening of football at Sutton Town this sunday with every team giving it there all and looking to push for top place in the league. The first game was between Birmingham United against The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers and it was a very tight game throughout with it looking like it could go either way but in the end Birmingham United managed to clinch the winning goal for a 3-2 win. The second game was between FearFax and Motters F.C and straight from the off Motters F.C showed they meant business and Dave Parsons once again didnt dissappoint getting his name highlighted once again as man of the match as his team celebrate the 4-1 victory. The final game of the evening saw Six Guys One Cup take on Sutton Six and the game for Six Guys One Cup was like target practice for them as they dominated the game in there 6-1 victory.

**NEW SEASON** Tonight we would like to welcome 2 new captains. We have Chris Chadd's Cunning Stunts and Craig Barrell's BOCA Seniors, really nice to see a few new and a few old faces back :) We would like to wish you both and all the teams involved good luck for the coming season.

Start to the new season and we witnessed a few tough games tonight..Sticky Foot and R.Slickers could not find the goal 0-0! Congratulations to man of the match and last season's joint player of the season Ashley Tunley who kept his team in the game tonight with a clean sheet and some cracking saves.
The two new captains had there work cut out when they played each other. Cunning Stunts tried and tried to find the goal but couldn't quite find that gap and after many strikes and some good goal keeping BOCA Seniors managed to find their form a fire the winner in. Well done to man of the match Scott Newman for BOCA.

Last seasons runners up played Hopeless who finished 3rd but were down on players this evening. Leominster Elite played some good football and after some hard work slipped two past Hopeless goal keeper to win 2-0. Well done Kyle Whitticase man of the match.
Newly named Bang Tidy FC started as they mean to go on this season and fired 2 past On the Edge. Despite some good saves from Roger Kirby and hard work from on the edge, some tidy football from man of the match John Acaster and his team pushed hard and fired in 2 goals. Can they keep up this form next week?

Premier Division
Real Tiddington who have had some real tough fixtures, gave it a real go, against a real determined United PL, but the ever strong PL came out on top with a 5-2 win.
Who's Keith were left wondering who's the opposition, but that didn't stop them racking up a 5-0 win against Bbad United.
Only Fools and Horses had a triffic game against a slow out of the blocks Hardly Athletic side, beating them 7-1. Three wins from three games keeps Del and the boys out in front.
Unbeaten but without a win the Hot shots had a showdown with TNT. Despite TNT's early two goal blast the draw specialists Hot shots gunned them down to record a 2-2 draw.

Division One
SHFB United left Average Joe with no place to go and beat them 2-0. With this win SHFB continue their unbeaten run and are sitting pretty ish in second slot.
Make Me a Sandwich could only turn out one moldy crust, so KD 2010 were only to glad to take it and now they are up and running with a 5-0 win.
The Multiple Score Gasums knocked a few off as they spanked the A.S Rangers 9-0. The Gasums cheeky monkey 'JP' got the man of the match for doing his fair share of the spanking.
Kes 5 are still the head boys after brushing the 99 Problems and The Pitch Ain't One Of Them to one side with a 4-1 win.

The current season drew to a close with Tudor Motors once again winners of the Division, they signed it off with an emphatic win against CC All-stars and will once again prove difficult to knock off the top in the new season.

Adamsdown All-stars cemented their position as runners-up with a close victory beating The Nutty Boyz 3-2.

The mid table clash saw Penarth Panthers hold off the FC Falcons 2-1 as both teams now prepare for the new season in good form, finally, the new comers United In One rounded the evening off with a win and will no doubt have a say at the top end of the table next season.

Thanks to all the teams this season and look forward to the new season that will include some new contenders and we welcome them to Leisure Leagues.

Certainly a night of Goal Keepers this week with a very enjoyable evening of football.Newhall Labour Club came out on top thanks to a Hat trick from Daz Burgham against Ace. An entertaining game followed with both teams cancelling each other out with a great performance from the Sports keeper Will Lockie holding Scoregasm to a 4-4 draw.
Again Fc Reunited Ricky Ayre stood solid at the back to hold Barca to a 4-4 draw. Red Hot Spankers the league leaders defeated a hardworking Noggings side with Keeper Graham Walsh in outstanding form. Spankers came out as 7-3 winners. Beady eye were up next playing a strong Pussy Patrol. Pussy found the first half hard going and could not find a way past Stu Tyers in goal for Beady, though the pressure finally told with Pussy winning 8-4 Though a sterling job by keeper Stu from Beady eye. Unfortunately Newhall old boys had some injury problems and could not make tonight so Tekkers had a 5-0 friendly with Craig tucker getting the nod for Man of the match. A great night of football with all the teams a credit to Swadlincote green bank sun league.
Well done to Steff Evans man of the match for Sticky Foot.

The place for the wooden spoon was also played tonight as Farcelona faced On the Edge.
Well they both couldn't live up to their names could they ! So Bayer Neverlusen continued their unbeaten run and Were Gunner Win It came their closest thus far this season. Final score 3-2 to Bayer.

You could tell Frank had handled the Pu-Tang before by the scoreline. Lets Be Frank beat the Pu-Tang Clan 12-1 and Darren Hill got man of the match for some excellent touches and real control before shooting.

With one thing for certain Stratford were going home with some points. Stratford Shooters came out on top on the night with a 7-5 win but stay below FC United Stratford in the table (albeit only goal difference).

Freestylers move into third with three games gone and join four teams on four points. It was an easy 5-0 win for Freestylers because they got no reception from their opponents who seem to have pithed off, maybe they were only summer fruits.

A fine dislplay of football this week at Sutton Town with plenty of goals to keep you entertained. Team Sports Casuals were on there usual fighting form as them hammered home six goals to Hamstead Harriers one and Tom Simith getting his name mentioned for man of the match. Pattaya United got off to a dream start this season bagging themselves a 2-0 win over Kynoch Corinthians and Paul Keepax showing his usual display of talents. The 6 pack had there work cut out this week to try and beat Manay Park Rangers but they just didnt have what it takes as Richard Knowles of Maney Park didnt stop running all game as his plays ensured Maney's 5-0 win. The closest game of the evening saw Unreal Madrid come up against Sand Dancers and it looked like it could go either way but in the end The Sand Dancers with the help of Natty sneaked a goal in to celebrate a 4-3 victory. Super 6 were once again showing they had no problem finding the back of the net in there 8-1 victory over the Sutton Spartans and Alex Warrilow gettin back on the board to go for another player of the season award. The final game of the evening was between The Old Pooches and TCOB FC and it was a nail biting game from start to finish but as the final whistle blew neither side could find the winning goal in their 1-1 draw, Nick Rudge getting Man of the Match.

Waingroves proved their title credentials were real as they remain the only team to maintain a 100% winning start to the Selston Sunday league after this weeks results. It was Rich Craddock who again proved to be the difference as his performance earned Waingroves a 7-4 victory over DG United.

Heavyweights Eastleigh Harriers and The White Lion went head to head in typically fierce end to end clash. With little to separate the sides, two late goals saw the game finish all square at 1-1 with Scott Morgan receiving the Man of the match award for his display.

Orange Sierra recorded an impressive 7-2 victory over currant champions Neverbin Athletic. Will Beach starred for Sierra as they inflicted a second straight defeat for Neverbin whilst Daz Whalin was again the hero for the Horse and Jockey after their convincing 6-1 win at the expense of the Inbertweeners.

Mot Mot Motley Crue made it two wins from two after Sam Clarke inspired them to a 4-1 victory over Sitty Pretty whilst Shane Scrimshaw ensured Notts FC moved upto fifth place in the table after helping his side get the better of early strugglers Norfolk In Chance 4-2.

Anyone who wants to join the 5 a side leagues in Selston can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net

Farmborough Bounce began their defence of the Radstock Monday title with a shock 4-3 defeat at the hands of SOPs Reunited, for whom Michael Clevely was outstanding.

Last season´s runners-up, Urine Trouble, also sounded a warning to the champions with a comprehensive 9-0 drubbing of the normally hard-to-beat Norad FC, who took consolation from the performance in defeat of Mark Seymour.

In the night´s first match, Renegades again showed that they will be a force this season, defeating the ever-improving Leave-my-arcelona 3-2, with Josh Tyler in great form for the losing team.

The Young Ones performed well in their Points Match, and will undoubtedly trouble opponents with their pace and skill this season. They even had to contend with a few antics from the guest keeper who unfortunately tried to perfect his diving skills in the centre circle, instead of confining them to his own area!

It was a great evening of football this week at Sutton Town with all teams in high competative spirits and some excellant football played. The first game of the evening saw The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers take on Motters F.C but straight from the off Motters F.C looked in control of the game pulling out all the skills and in the end there hard work paid off helped massivley by Dave Parsons as Motters F.C grab a 10-3 win and secure top place in the league. The second game of the evening was between 6 Guys 1 Cup and FearFax and it was a very close game with it looking like it could go either way but it was 6 guys 1 cup who came out on top with a 1-0 win and Matthew Bigwood getting man of the match. The final game of the evening saw the new team Sutton Six just not have what it takes to beat Birmingham United as Birmingham United and Simon Charles are left celebrating there 2-0 victory.

The first match of the evening saw the leaders Tudor Motors take on The Nutty Boyz. The leaders of the Division didn’t have it their own way in the early stages and the passing was not as slick as their last match, this couldn’t have been down to the greasy surface, they did soon find their feet and straight win number 13 came with a 7-2 win, a spirited performance from the Nutty Boyz will give them optimism for the new season.

Another match that started off evenly contested was between CC All Stars and the FC Falcons that was until Luke Bowen scored 2 goals within a minute and gave the Falcons the confidence to push on for a 9-3 victory.

An emphatic 9-0 win for Penarth Panthers kept them in mid-table and we must credit to Ragtag Rovers who kept battling on throughout the game and all credit to them for that.

The final match saw 2nd place Adamsdown Allstars take on the relatively newcomers United in One, a lively affair saw the recent additions win the match 5-2 and they will be challenging up top in the new season if they continue to perform like they did in this match.

If you play in our leagues then we hope you agree that we offer the best quality leagues around.

You know that we strive to offer you the best quality balls, pitches and trophies. You know that we are constantly trying to improve our service – as you would have seen in the recent snow when we rang every team that was affected by the weather to tell them that their league was off. We are the only league provider that does this, because we value the personal touch above all.

But one thing you might know about us is our commitment to helping good causes.

This commitment re-enforces our community efforts, and in practice means that any profits we make are reinvested into charities and good causes.

Among the many beneficiaries of this are Cancer Research UK, The Dogs Trust and The National Blind Children’s Society.

These – and many other causes – are close to our hearts here at Leisure Leagues and we are delighted to able to help them in whatever small way we can.

We will also get involved wherever possible in other things too. One of our players contacted us to say he was part of a group going to Sierra Leone to take part in an infrastructure project, which was to culminate in a big football match being played in the village.

He asked us to provide kits and balls for the game, which were happy to do – and as you can see from the picture on the right they certainly went down well!

So, at Leisure Leagues you can see that not only do we run the best leagues in the UK, a fact we are extremely proud of, but we are also tremendously happy to run the most community focussed too.

PREMIER DIVISION
Hot 5hots and Bbad Utd kicked the evenings games off and with both sides keeping things tight it was all set to be a low scoring game. The final outcome was a 1-1 draw and with the points shared both sides were left thinking what might have been. Bbad's keeper Paul Taylor got a well deserved man of the match.
After last weeks episode we were left wondering who's Keith ? If Keith is human he will want his empire back and Real Tiddington felt the full wrath of Who's Keith and lost 13-0.
In a close run game United PL beat Hardly Athletic 2-1 and the highly competitive Poles now vault Hardly into third place in the table.
Only Fools and Horses have grabbed the reigns with both hands and lead the title race with a 2-1 win over TNT. There is no doubt they aren't fools and they will be there or there a bouts in in the final furlong.

DIVISION ONE
Average Joe came better prepared and won 3-0 against Make Me a Sandwich who had nothing in their lunch box tonight.
SHFB UNITED rose above the off pitch drama to get back to the script and beat A.S Rangers 6-2. Get better soon Ron they need their number one supporter back.
KES 5 are top of the class with a 4-2 win over KD 2010 who as yet have not turned up in 2012.
The Multiple Score Gasums did plenty of dribbling but very little shooting, so it was the 99 Problems who had most of the pleasure by winning 9-4.

Another cracking night of action in the Radstock Thursday night league, with Sons of Pitches leading the way in the first game of the night, trouncing Unathletic Madrid 16-2, with Mark Broadhurst outstanding.

We then saw 2 hard-fought games, firstly last season´s champions Flint Tropics overcoming their arch-rivals Kop Idols 4-2, with James Jones impressing for Idols. This was followed by Mallards, for whom Jordan Turvey was outstanding, overcoming Quims Park Rangers 3-2.

The final match of the night saw the seemingly-formidable Smack My Pitch Up overcoming FC Athletic 8-0, with Billy Robinson in fine form for the winners.

We have an early 2-way battle for supremacy at the top of the Thursday night league, with Smack My Pitch Up tied on 6 points with Flint Tropics.

It was top versus bottom this week in the Selston Sunday 5 a side league and despite the gap between them this proved an extremely close contest. It was Lee Benson who proved to be the difference though for Eastley Harriers as they just edged out Norfolk In Chance and kept up their 100% winning start to the season after a 6-5 victory.

Mot Mot Motley Crue registered their first points of the season in a thrilling game as they ended last season's champions, Neverbin Athletic's winning start to the season. The 6-5 victory came courtesy of a fine individual display from Motley's Dean Bower who ensured his side took home both points and move up to ninth place in the table.

Elsewhere Steve Hogkinson helped Horse and Jockey record a 3-1 victory over close rivals Notts FC. Instead Hardly put a couple of decent goals away and then defended well enough to come away with a 2-0 win.
Hot 5hots with their sights set high set out to find what this Keith fellow was all about.
After leading five goals to one, the Hot 5hots soon found out. The shell shocked Who's Keith reeled them back in just in time to salvage a point with a 5-5 draw.
TNT and United PL played out another exciting draw and with both sides unable to break the deadlock they had to settle for a point a piece in this 2-2 draw.
Only Fools and Horses were in a serious mood and with no fooling around beat Bbad Utd 5-0. This result puts both sides either ends of the table after the opening match.

DIVISION ONE
Kes 5 were hungry for the win and they devoured Make Me a Sandwich 5-2. Sam Stone was a little gem and got Man of the Match for Kes 5.
It was just like a Rangers Celtic match as the A.S Rangers beat the old foe Average Joe 4-2.
The pitch was fine but SHFB proved to be the problem by beating the 99 Problems and The Pitch Ain't One 3-2.
KD 2010 just could not stem the flow as the Multiple Score Gasums just kept coming and coming and cuming. JP (John Paul) the proud Man of the Match winner who stood out from the crowd and was the biggest part in the Gasums 8-1 win.
The nights football kicked off with a cracker of a game that really was a game of two halves. Stratford Shooters led three goals to one at the halfway stage, but come the second half cometh the man. Bayer Neverlusen are maturing into a force to be reckoned with and went on to win 5-4.

Frank was straight out of the blocks and was running away with it only to find the slow starting Real Orange catching them up in the later stages. Whilst holding a comfortable lead Lets be Frank saw a real attempt of a comeback by Real Orange FC and despite conceding four late goals Frank had done enough to win 8-4.

As the night got colder the Freestylers were only too glad to accept the free points on offer from Were Gunner Win It. The 5-0 win went to the Freestylers because you have to be in it to win it.

With the Pu-Tang Clan freezing cold and unable to perform any tricks, FC United Stratford found the Pu-Tang there for the taking and they ran out 8-1 victors. This second win in two games puts FC United into second place in the table.

Despite the best efforts of goalkeeper Dan Brown, he was unable to stop his side Absolute Electric going down 8-2 to new side STW Double D in the Aldercar Monday 5 a side league this week. After a shaky start by STW that saw Electric take the lead, they then took control of the game and record a first win for them.

It was a lively encounter between Langley Milan and The New White Bull as they were both looking to make ground on second placed side Heanor Lions. After starting the game without their first choice goalkeeper Milan struggled in the opening stages and went behind to an early White Bull goal. However man of the match Maz put in an impressive shift as Langley responded with a second half comeback to win the game 6-3 and keep up their chase for second place.

Another exciting game took place between second placed Heanor Lions and bottom side Inter YM. Despite the six places between them in the table, Inter troubled Heanor on a number of occasions and continued to give them problems throughout the game. With the game looking likely to finish all square it was Heanor's talisman Dan Frederickson who refused to accept a point as he then took control in the closing stages and helped Heanor grab the late goals as the game finished 7-3 in their favour.

The final game of the evening saw league leaders Norfolk N Good beat The Youngsters And Old Guy 9-3 to maintain a healthy five point lead at the top. Despite a spirited effort from the Youngsters they were thankful to goalkeeper Craig Thrall who pulled off a number of world class saves to keep the scoreline down.

Anyone who wants to join the 5 a side leagues in Aldercar can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net
After last week´s slip-up, Farmborough Bounce finally clinched the Leisure Leagues Monday night 6-a-side title with a truly professional performance against the pacy Young Ones. Bounce were sensational in a one-sided 1st half, scoring 6 superb goals, including a George Brooks hat-trick, before holding their opponents at bay for a 6-0 triumph.

Prior to Bounce´s victory, their nearest rivals S.O.Ps Reunited and Urine Trouble, had played out a dramatic 4-4 draw, with S.O.Ps hitting the bar and missing a sitter in the last minute.

Renegades were again in sparkling form, beating Unatletico Madrid 8-2, although Ben Sutton once again starred in the Madrid goal, making a string of fine saves. The match was also notable for a Madrid goal scored direct from a corner kick.

Earlier, Norad drew with Leave-my-Arcelona 1-1 in an entertaining encounter, with Steve Gillingham the outstanding performer for Norad, although his team missed a great chance to seal the win in the last few minutes.

Next week´s final round of fixtures will see S.O.Ps Reunited and Urine Trouble going head-to-head for the runners-up trophy.

Eastley Harriers continued with their fine form in the Selston Sunday 5 a side league this week with an entertaining 6-1 victory over old rivals Horse and Jockey. Despite the scoreline Harriers were made to work for the result as goalkeeper Russ Norman was forced into a number of fine saves to ensure his team took home the points.

The Inbertweeners also found their goal-scoring touch in their game against Orange Sierra. James Funnel was amongst the goals in his sides 8-3 win whilst Jordan Webster ensured that Waingroves also made it two wins from two as they narrowly edged out Mot Mot Motley Crew 4-3 in a closely contested match.

Elsewhere Simon Bridges stole the show for Neverbin Athletic as he helped his team record a 7-3 victory over Sitting Pretty, whilst DG united were unfortunate that Shane Scrimshaw was on song for Notts FC as their 7-0 victory gave them their first points of the new season.

Matt Johnson received the man of the match award for the White Lion as they returned to winning ways after last weeks disappointment.

It was an entertaining night of football this week on opening night of the Sunday league at Sutton Town F.C with the first match kicking off being between The Mighty Morphin Flower Arrangers against 6 Guys 1 Cup, It was a very competative game right from the off with both sides looking like they had what it takes to win the game, but Ashley Bell of 6 Guys 1 Cup was then starting to show off his skills and talent on the ball as his team celebrate a 2-1 victory. The second match of the evening was a Friendly game between Fearfax and 6 Guys 1 Cup and the game started off high paced with lots of passing and moving going on, in the end it was once again 6 Guys 1 Cup who came out on top with the 4-1 win but it could quite easily of been alot more if it wasn't for the Fearfax goalie Chris Gerrard. The final match of the evening was Birmingham United against Motters F.C and it was Motters F.C who took the early lead and then just could not find the back of the net for the rest of the half but as the second half began they found themselves playing some quality football to bag themselves another 2 goals leaving Birmingham United to accept a 3-0 defeat, with James Gibbons getting man of the match.

Firstly, Sons of Pitches defeated Mallards 6-2, with Mark Broadhurst in outstanding form.

The most entertaining game of the evening saw last season´s runners-up, Kop Idols coming from behind to beat Quims Park Rangers 6-3 with Kop´s skipper Rhys Presley dragging his team back into the game after a woeful 1st half team performance.

Then it was the turn of the Champions, Flint Tropics, who overcame a spirited effort from FC Athletic to win 5-0, with Tom Rutter impressing for Athletic.

The final match of the night pitted the two new teams against each other. Unathletic Madrid were undone by a sensational performance from Smack My Pitch Up, who sounded a genuine warning to the other teams in the division by winning 12-1. Clinton Hartley´s team were in unstoppable form and look likely to have a say in the destiny of the title if their first-game form continues. Flint Tropics....you´ve been warned!

With their first league title within touching distance, Farmborough Bounce slumped to their first defeat of an otherwise impressive season, going down 3-1 to mid-table Renegades, who out-smarted their opponents by defending deep and breaking swiftly, particularly during a pulsating 2nd half. The Renegades strikers were a constant menace, and Farmborough´s night was best summed up by Renegades´ 3rd goal, which crept over the line after hitting the post and striking Bounce´s keeper on the back.

Farmborough remain 3 points clear of Urine Trouble, who overcame an improving Leave-my-Arcelona 4-1, while S.O.PS Reunited maintained their unlikely title challenge by defeating Unatletico Madrid 9-0, after a disastrous 5 minute spell in the 2nd half for the Unatletico defence.

All eyes will now be on The Young Ones, who are the only team who can prevent Farmborough Bounce claiming the title. The Young Ones went down to a surprise 5-1 defeat at the hands of Norad FC, their first defeat since 12th December. The fate of the title could depend on which team turns up for the Young Ones in their final fixtures.

There are now 3 teams who could win the title. Urine Trouble need to win both remaining games against S.O.P.S Reunited to have any chance, but they must also rely on Farmborough being restricted to a point in their final two games against The Young Ones. If Bounce win either one of their games, then the title will be theirs. S.O.PS Reunited must win their final games and hope that Farmborough lose both of their fixtures. Even then, S.O.PS will need to finish with a better goal difference.

There was no time for celebrations in the Selston Sunday 5 a side league this week as last season's champions Neverbin Athletic started the defence of their league title against last season's runners up The White Lion. Despite being robbed of a couple first team players for the game, Neverbin were in no mood for handing out favours to the Lion as James Metcalf inspired his team to an fantastic opening day 6-1 victory.

New team DG United meanwhile were handed a baptism of fire in their first game against free scoring Eastley Harriers. It was Dean Hurst who did most of the damage for Harriers in this game as he ensured their title challenge started with both points on the board.

James Funnel was also amongst the goals for Inbertweeners as they recorded an impressive 8-1 victory against Bayer Nuverlusen whilst Waingroves also made a winning start to the season and had Rich Craddock to thank for their 1-0 win over another new side, Sitting Pretty.

Elsewhere Daz Whalin continued where he left off last season with another fine display for Horse and Jockey in a 7-2 victory against Norfolk in Chance FC whilst Malc Reddington's goals for Orange Sierra dealt a hammer blow to Notts FC who went down 7-4 in this game.

Anyone who wants to join the 5 a side leagues in Selston can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net
Norfolk N Good extended their lead at the top of the Aldercar 5 a side league to five points this week after an excellent 5-0 win against second placed team Heanor Lions. In a game that threatened to blow the title race wide open and really put some pressure on the league leaders, the lions were unable to make their mark on the game and never reallly looked like halting Norfolk's winning run. In fact the scoreline could have been even worse for Heanor but for the continued good form of goalkeeper Jordan Frederickson who produced a number of fine saves between the sticks.

Just as important this week was the clash between the bottom two sides Inter YM and Absolute Electric. With both teams desperate for the win, and the points, it was a lively end to end start with both teams enjoying good spells of possession. In the end however it was Absolute Electric who took home both points and came away with a 10-6 victory over their rivals, a win that was made even harder by the performance of Inter goalkeeper Tim Farnsworth who was unfortunate to finish the game on the losing side.

In other games this week, Stuart Newton's excellent form in front of goal continues for Langley Milan who hit Marlpool United for six with no reply. The 6-0 defeat see's Marlpool drop to fifth place after The New White Bull collected a point from their game with The Youngsters and Old Guy and move up into forth place in the league. It was Wayne Syson who had a hand in all of the White Bull's best moves and ensured his side's 4-4 moves them into the top half of the table.

Anyone who wants to join the 5 a side leagues in Aldercar can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net
PREMIER DIVISION
Hardly Athletic and Bbad United kicked off the nights football with a 3-3 draw. A game that was anything but a bore draw, saw both sides going all out for the win so as to avoid the dreaded drop.
With a 2-0 win TNT blew any chance, bar a minor miracle of the Kes 5 keeping their Prem dream alive.
Only Fools and Horses didn't fool around as they dumped KD 2010 out of the Prem with a 8-0 win. The Peckham posers played the game in a serious mood, but Del Boy did seem to smile when KD's lady player A J kept backing in !
In the clash of the titans it was Keith's cheeks that were the tightest and Who's Keith poleaxed United PL 6-1. The result will surely put the crown firmly on Keith's head now.

DIVISION ONE
Freestylers made hard work of it in their 1-0 victory, or was it SHFB United who made it hard work for Freestylers ! Oh what ever !
A.S Rangers with the spoon in touching distance just had to take their medicine from the Hot shots, who intend going up in style with a 6-2 win.
With a 4-0 win and only one game to go the Multiple Score Gasums look set to cum above Make Me a Sandwich as the season closes in.
Just to round the night off when it's not one thing but it's another the 99 Problems lost by a single goal to Average Joe. With a 4-3 win Average Joe will finish above average and look set to change their name next season.

CONGRATULATIONS to Flint Tropics, the new Radstock Thursday 6-a-side Champions. Despite falling to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Runners-Up Kop Idols, the title was already in the bag prior to kick-off. The performance of Rees Presley was the highlight of the night for Kop Idols, although particular mention should also go to Flint Tropics keeper Tom Ross, who managed to keep the score respectable.

We were also delighted to welcome FC Athletic to the Thursday night league. Despite a torrid opening half against Sons of Pitches, for whom Kelvin Chivers was again outstanding, Athletic gave a much more assured performance in the second half (albeit in a losing cause), and look set to become a real force in the league next season.

The final points match of the evening involved Quims Park Rangers and Mallards, with both teams showing touches of genuine class. Clinton Hartley was again impressive, while Kieron in the Mallards goal looked like he´d been there for years....which he probably had!

It was goal madness this week at the Sutton Coldfield Wednesday 6aside league with many teams hammering home the goals just for fun. The first game of the evening saw The Old Pooches smash home 5 goals to 1 against Unreal Madrid, and Harry Lynch climbing up the table in the player of season league. Hamstead Harriers came up against the new team this week The Sand Dancers and it was a very close game with it looking like either team could win but it was Hamstead who clinched the 1-0 victory, Kieran Shannon getting man of the match. Super 6 this week made scoring goals look easy as the banged home 13 goals against Sutton Spartans thanks mainly to the help of Jim Fantarow, final whistle blew for a final score of 13-3. It was another close game between TCOB FC and Pattaya United with neither side finding the winning goal as the game ends 3-3 and Paul Keepax getting man of the match. Team sports were up to the usual bag of tricks as they get a comfortable 7-1 win over Kynoch Corinthians and a special mention to Dan Brown for his performance. The final game of the evening saw top of the league Maney Park Rangers show us once again why they are in top spot as they leave The 6 Pack wondering what happened in the game as the 6 Pack accept the 7-1 defeat with Brian Preston getting Man of the Match.

PREMIER DIVISION

The opening game of the night saw a strong Frank give a weakened Pu-Tang a good licking. The Pu-Tang Clan played most of the game with only four players and try as they might they were no match for Lets be Frank, who kept up the penetration to the end and racked up a 14-3 win.

Stratford Shooters used their 5-0 winning game as a training session for the start of the new season that starts next week and they have surely set their sights firmly on regaining that top slot again.

With a 16-5 win over the Real Orange FC ,the Bayer Neverlusen boys are really coming of age and will be right in the mix next season. Once the Orange men find their feet they will find they are marching on a much more level playing field.

After KB Construction had built such a long unbeaten run the Freestylers just had to be the ones to demolish it and they did it with an impressive 5-3 win.

Roll on the new season it should be a close one !

On a cold and Icy evening in the Aldercar 5 a side league this week, Kevin Fowler was on fire for table toppers Norfolk N Good as his early hat trick set them on their way to a comfortable 10-3 win against Absolute Electric. The win keeps Norfolk's impressive form going and maintains their three point lead at the top of the table.

It is Heanor Lions who remain in second place after they defeated The Youngsters And Old Guy 7-3. Despite Craig Hatton's heroics in goal for the Youngsters, it wasn't enough to stop his team going down to the title hopefuls and see his side drop a place to sixth.

Luke Mcullory produced a number of world class saves for Marlpool United this week but even he was powerless to stop The New White Bull from claiming both points after they produced a fantastic display in their 7-4 victory. The win see's Marlpool drop a place to forth, level on points with The White Bull who moved up a place into fifth position.

Game of the day however was a high scoring one between Langley Milan and Inter YM. Despite going behind early on to a rejuvenated Inter side it was Stuart Newton who proved the difference as his goals ensured an 11-7 victory for Langley, a win that see's them overtake Marlpool and move into third place in the league.

Anyone who wants to join the 5 a side leagues in Aldercar can ring 0845 230 2340 or visit www.leisureleagues.net
PREMIER DIVISION
The evening kicked off with opposite ends of the table playing each other and there wasn't an upset in sight. Who's Keith came away comfortable 6-0 winners against KD 2010.
United PL set out to reduce the goal difference at the top, with a solid 13-1 win against Hardly Athletic who despite the loss now sit safe from the drop in mid table.
Only Fools and Horses looking good in their new kit had a triffic 6-3 win against some unstable TNT.
In a relegation battle Bbad United came good to win 3-1 against Kes 5, a result that leaves Kes with an uphill battle to avoid the drop.

DIVISION ONE
Hot 5hots made sure of promotion with still two games to go in the current season by beating their nearest rivals SHFB United 4-2.
Freestylers didn't make a meal of it as they beat Make Me A Sandwich 8-0 and now gain promotion in that all important top slot.
We saw plenty of dribbling and shooting from the Multiple Score Gasums but they only beat 99 Problems 3-1. The result makes it all but impossible for the Gasums to be left shinning the spoon.
Average Joe left it late to beat A.S Rangers 4-2 in a game that had draw written all over it, until Joe scored two late goals. It's looking ever more likely that the Rangers will be the ones having to take the medicine from the spoon.

It was another exciting night of football this week at Sutton Town F.C with some competative games and some confidence boosting wins for other teams. The first game of the evening saw Hamstead Harriers come up against Unreal Madrid but Adam Hayfield just looked like he was showing off his skills in this game for his team Hamstead Harriers as the bag themselves a 3-0 win. Sutton Spartans came up against The 6 Pack this week in a match where Josh Hackett's performance must of been such a boost of confidence as the Sutton Spartans get a comfortable 7-2 win. Maney Park Rangers took on Team Sports Casuals this week and it was definatley one of Maney Park Rangers toughest challenges in the league, but once again Maney Park Rangers did not dissappoint in their 5-3 victory and Paul Smith getting man of the match. The final game of the evening saw Pattaya United come up against The Old Pooches but straight from the off the Old Pooches looked in control of the game and Greg Cattell made sure he was on the top of his game for The Old Pooches in their 8-2 win.
