League closing for Christmas, plus latest league news

We had a magnificent night of football on Sunday, with all teams in attendance for the final set of fixtures before the festive break. With Young Offenders taking an ominous looking lead at the top of the table, their title rivals will be hoping for a Christmas miracle to pip them to the crown.
