NEW SEASON KICKED OFF THIS WEEK - CHAMPIONS DEFEATED!

The new season kicked off this week in the Kilkenny Sunday 6 aside league held at The Watershed Sports Centre with all teams in attendance and everything running smoothly.

Last seasons champions Gaeltec Utilities suffered a defeat in their first match of the season this week as they went down 4-3 to new commers HLM_FC. Their captain Sam Oyewole led the team to victory with his man of the match display.

It looks like this season may be a tight battle with all teams relatively evenly matched which is great to see.
